Great family run hotel.

Just returned from a fabulous week in skiathos. Having stayed in skiathos town previously, we decided to stay in the kounkanaries area. Before booking hotel lake, I was abit dubious with it being a 2 star but the reviews were all pretty good. I can honestly say this hotel deserves to be a 3 star due to the location, cleanliness, air conditioning, pool area, comfort of beds and view of the lake. Definitely recommend booking here if you are thinking of staying in that area. 5 min walk to kounkanaries beach, 15min to banana beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants all within 2-5 min walking distance. Bus stop right outside (25) .

Amazing holiday at Lake Studios

Great location, very quiet and an amazing choices of fabulous places to eat nearby. Every meal we had out was amazing. Studio very clean and cleaned every day with towels changed. Always sunbeds and pool was clean and warm. Couldn't fault any of it

Perfect accommodation

Well ran apartments with all the required amenities. Lovely pool area that is immaculate with comfortable sun loungers. No pool bar, so you can bring down your own drinks and snacks, and no music, so thankfully it was quiet and well maintained.
All needs met by an amazing family with well behaved and polite children. Towels changed regular without requests ever being needed and bins emptied daily. Private balcony with views over the lake. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing and tranquil stay. Thank you for your hospitality and all of your hard work .
Surprisingly bonus of free air conditioning and safe, and good Internet.

Basic but fine

Probably more 3.5/5 than 3 as nothing was terrible. Very basic, but adequate. The owner seemed a bit unfriendly, but maybe it's just the language barrier. The pool area is less small than some of the photos make it look. Complimentary shower gel was a nice bonus. It's in a good location, not far from lots of nice restaurants, and not a long walk to the beach either.

Great little apartments Sep 2025

Lovely traditional greek accommodation. Stayed in one of the ground floor rooms, it was fairly basic but was clean, bed was very comfy, kitchen area had everything you need for light meals. Free aircon and safety deposit box and greek TV which is a bonus. Towels and sheets chsnged every other day. Louis and his wife were very helpful and always happy. Really nice pool area with plenty of comfy sunbeds and shades. The pool is one of the cleanest ive ever seen and the setting in the grounds is fabulous. Very quiet at nigjt as no bar area which i like. Would stay here again as right in the best part of koukanaries with all the beautiful beaches and a few good tavernas/shops nearby
