Precious experience of peace at Darya Seaview Resort.
The rooms were well kept . The staff very courteous and helpful. The restaurant Kalpa has excellent cook and staff , serving delicious fresh food.
The swimming pool has a scenic ambience with the sea as a backdrop is just fantastic.
My grand child had a great time moving up and down the Chira stone stairs , enjoying the swing in the garden the swimming pool and the blooming garden .We all loved the stay there.
Would love to visit again.

An average property.
To make matters worse their in-house staff didn't quite make any serious efforts to calm these unruly beings and only after repeated complaints of 8-10 times did they mildly tried to advise the offenders. These college students repeatedly mistook our room and other guests rooms as one of their own and would ring it every now and then. The night time was blaring with loud music upto 10.30 pm which was still bearable and the early morning hours were again chaotic and extremely disturbing. It sort of spoiled 1 day and night from our trip of two days and there were other guests who were staying apart from us and everyone was equally troubled.
I guess their numbers and the eventual profits that the hotel was earning compared to 3-4 rooms taken by individual guests was the factor that ruined our peace and that is one stupid holiday which I will remember for a long time but for all the wrong reasons.
Rooms are strangely in a Diagonal sort of shape and definitely seems odd as this would be something you wouldn't have experienced before especially while watching the TV.
Rooms are dated and the walls are in need of some fresh paint, the linen both in the room and bathroom would have seen better days I am sure but not anymore.
The extra mattress for the kid was an old, a bit torn cotton mattress which didn't quite evoke any feelings of comfort by any stature of imagination.
Food was strictly ok types and can be served in the room at no extra charges, they do have a separate space for restaurants and pricing is moderate. The included breakfast comes with Tea, Omlette and choice between Poha, upma and couple of other items per person and it came across as a decent offering.
Ample space is available for Parking and the area has some swings and slides for kids but most of them again require maintenance and frequent cleaning as they were surrounded with lots of cobwebs and dust so most of it was unusable by young kids.
My sincere advise to management would be to improve the room experience, give some training to your staff to resolve the situation which arose because of a large group not behaving as per standard norms, improve your food quality and the overall place requires a quick round of maintenance as otherwise you have a lot of space which when made use properly can be beneficial for both the owners and customers.
I paid around 4700 for two nights for an AC deluxe room but even with that price I didn't quite get a lot of value for the spent amount. I guess in that price range there are better accommodations available that do care far more for their customers.
The only slight positive is the actual working staff who take care of meals and housekeeping, they came across as hard-working people and provided us what they could within the prevailing limitations.

A decent budget hotel
The rooms were pretty good. AC, TV, lights, fan everything was in working condition. Clean bathroom with 24/7 hot water.
The beach which is closest to the hotel is very dirty and is at 15-20 min walking distance from hotel.
Hospitality was good. The staff working there looked lost sometimes but were very helpful and courteous.
Food served wasn't out of this world and was OK. They have kitchen timings. We checked in at 3.30 pm and they had nothing to offer us. There were veg starters available for dinner, but after a lot of convincing they served paneer pakados which were below par.
Get a room on 1st floor or above to enjoy small terrace.
