It's almost like a no frill hotel. You don't get daily room service or a big gym and swimming pool. But the staffs are ready to help if you have questions. There's laundry machines and dryers which are operated with coins, that's all we need for amenities. Location is great, just about 10-15 minutes walk to shopping street in the city. Room was big, clean and everything functions properly. We had a pleasant stay.

Spacious rooms in convenient location

Located just outside of Sapporo’s downtown area, this hotel offers excellent value for money. Our room, on the 10th floor, was spacious and clean, with all the basic amenities, a generously sized bathroom, plus a kitchenette with a hot plate, microwave and small kettle.
The reception desk is staffed from 3-10pm only, and rooms are not cleaned or serviced during your stay. Extra towels were made available on shelves beside the lifts, so we could help ourselves as needed. Staff kindly gave Master 12 a small assortment of Japanese snacks to enjoy upon our arrival, which was a very kind gesture, though I’m not sure whether this is something provided to all guests or just to kids.
The 3 of us slept very well on both nights. I found the beds nice and firm, but the absence of bedside lamps made it hard to adjust lighting levels for those who went to bed earlier than others. After some playing around with light switches and positioning of cushions, we eventually found a solution that worked for all. Those who are more sensitive to light may wish to bring an eye mask, especially as light creeps around the edges of the block-out curtains in the morning (our room faced almost due east).
There is a noticeable lack of hooks and towel rails in the bathroom, which was annoying, especially as there were also no shelves or drawers into which to place items to clear up space on the counter. There is also no closet, only a rail next to the front door and bed platform with hangers. When adjusting the air conditioning level, the appliance makes an announcement in Japanese, which was rather startling and made it difficult to operate when other members of our party were already sleeping!
The hotel is easily accessible from Susukino station, being about a 10 minute walk with luggage, less without. If travelling with family, It’s probably best to stick to the main street (Tsukisamu-dori; just follow the street car/tram tracks), as we stumbled upon what appeared to be Sapporo’s red light district (2 streets south of Tsukisamu-dori, which has a Lawson in the corner) when making our way to Ramen Alley for dinner on our first night.
There are also street car stops near the hotel, with fares charged at a flat rate payable on exit, either by cash or Kitaca card. A child’s Kitaca card is available from the JR ticket counter at Sapporo station (you’ll have to present their passport and complete a short form).

Not recommended for families with small children who need more than one room, they are unable to accommodate to our request to arrange for our rooms to be on the same floor despite emailing them earlier. I stayed in this hotel twice during my trip and they were unable to give me rooms on the same floor both times, very disappointed with their service
