TERRIBLE experience - Mediocre Hotel

Hotel is located in CBD. Rooms are average at best. Wifi speeds leave a lot to be desired; they give you a temp password to use on each gadget. Catering staff are pleasant. Housekeeping is TERRIBLE as is attitude of the receptionists. I lost my travelling kit in the room and they refused to take any responsibility. They said all safe items should be kept at reception and that I am the first to lose something in the room! They have CCTV but refused to use it, choosing the word of the housekeeper against mine; i wonder if it even works. You don't even see the manager as you're told she is out. I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE. If you must stay in CBD pick another hotel not this one. This is actually the first negative review I've written about a hotel. They should have someone responsible enough to address client complaints and concerns. Terrible experience.

Locked In My Room! Phone not working to Reception

Our keys stopped working and my sister and I were locked in our room with no way out.
It was really bad. The phone to reception was not working, and we couldn't get out!
There was no hot water for bathing or shower.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Klique Hotel Eldoret

Staff seem indifferent to your presence. Food and drinks are is expensive for what they are. It is dark place even during the day. It's ok eventually. I think it is trading on a past reputation but it is not somewhere I would race back to.

Expensive Bad Service

I went to The Klique restaurant to have lunch and I was greatly disappointed.
First off, it took forever for a waiter to serve us and the food wasn't anything to write home about.
Now comes the part that pissed me off, when I asked for a WiFi password, I was told that I had to pay Ksh.100 for a 3 hour usage which is ridiculous for a hotel that boasts to be Eldoret's finest. The network gave me a 10 minute free test usage; what in the hell I'm I supposed to do with 10 minutes of internet?
There are stickers at the door that indicate the acceptance of cards as a form of payment; however, when I went to pay with my Visa card, I was informed that it does not work. Then my waitress came back to tell me that they can accept it but they'll charge a processing fee that is 10% of my bill. Needless to say, I had to leave my sister and friend in the hotel so I could go to an ATM and withdraw some cash.
Worst lunch experience in Eldoret, I could have had it better at any Café.

The managemet of the hotel is very poor there is no security at all on 17/06/2015 at midnight there was a lady who was about to be raped in a hotel room its very scary for us ladies. And the people incharge are very cruel and rude.
