Unbeliveably Rude Owner
I stayed at Elephant apartments and what a nightmare it was! Africa being Africa there were several power cuts. i specifically stayed in this place as they promised a generator and thats what they sold it on. (i work online so its important i have internet) the power was always off. i left it for hours (this happened many times) boiling hot nn the apartment until the computer ran out, i requested that they turn on the genrator (that was promised to me) for enough time to recharge my battery.
The owner was so rude, she wanted me to pay for petrol for the whole block and fuel the generator myself in addition to what i was already paying.
The owner was an absolute nightmare to be honest she is rude and miserable. Keeps coming into her apartment with her dog that runs all around and jumped over everything. When i had lots of shoppin she was refusing the tuk tuk driver was allowed in the apartments as she didnt like the noise.
I would advise staying away from this place as the owner is a complete nightmare.
Not to mention the place was filthy when we moved in, would have expected it to be cleaned and the pool was dirty (although they did clean this in the end after we pushed and pushed for it)
