Basic but great

The hotel itself is very basic, but clean. We really enjoyed the terrace and tea made by our host, who was very kind and helpful. The breakfest on the terrace was a great pleasure too. The very best place to start the Toubkal trail. There is no mobile conecction or wifi, but I see it as an advantage too, a great place to disconnect (and if you really need, you can walk down to the river and catch some signal).

My Toubkal Trek

I have stayed at the Cafe Aremnd many times and it is the perfect base for an ascent of Mt Toubkal and the surrounding peaks. Friendly staff and good food, clean and comfortable. I’ll be back in the Spring for some ski touring ....

Very welcome

After 4 nights in a tent with wet wipes it seemed luxury.
Granted anything with walls and running water would seem good but this was basic,clean
and the food was good.
Probably go back next year and start and finish here as so convenient for Toubkal.

Great place to stay on the trek out to Imlil

Summitted Toubkal in the morning. Long trek out to this hotel. Decent, spacious rooms. Very clean. Chicken tagine hit the spot. Free wifi. Cold drinks and snacks. Nice terrace on which to look across the valley floor. Ideal for our needs.

Simple, clean hotel with first rate views

This is almost the last building in Aremd before the long path up to the Toubkal refuge. It’s a simple place, but kept very clean and tidy by it’s caring staff. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and there are showers and western style toilets. Few better places to while away the hours staring at the mountain views!
