Good

Unfortunately the day we visited the weather was grey. We booked a tour guide from the Hotel but we would not really recommand it. Hotel location is fantastic, the view from the restaurant at night made it special, the waiter we had was so kind, and food nice. Bed and bathroom nice, we had the Hanoi room, dont book this room for the terrasse view she is located between 2 terrasse and not offering the expected view. But she is confortable

Blue Heaven

This place is simply spectacular. Not only is it beautiful and somewhat exclusive simply by design as the hotel has capitalized on its mountain range and is a 157 step climb to the registration. The rewards is air conditioning, delightfully wrapped candies and one of the most beautiful reception areas I have seen. The main lounge and dining area are of similar exquisite taste. The rooms, the pool, the grounds and service are immaculate and nothing short of perfection. The view is probably the best in the town.
The room prices are well below what one would expect for a boutique hotel of this caliber.
* for the French Fry lovers, best fries I have ever had in my life!
Please ignore all of the reviews that have anything negative to say about this gem, those are the kind of people who are never satisfied.

Very nice hotel

Very beautiful hotel with very helpful staff.
The rooms are correct (at least ours) even tho the view is not as clear as “promised” on the booking.
If you want views you need to call the hotel and ask exactly which room has unblock room.
In any case, if you are doubting to get it don’t! It is very nice.
Only negative point ( not for me but might be for you): it is on a hill so many many stairs.

Very nice Dar/Hotel, many steps from street

Be aware - there are more than 100 steps from the street to Dar Jasmine, be sure you can do steps/stairs. The hotel is very nice. The staff was polite and accommodating. The room we had was one flight up and was nice and clean with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. My friends room was quite a few levels higher (more steps to climb). We ate a light lunch (falafel) which was very good. The dinner menu is traditional Moroccan and we wanted something different, so we went to Triana recommended by the hotel which was good.
Dar Jasmine is best for a stay of more than 1 night since it has a lovely pool, nice decks and a very nice view. You can't appreciate the hotel with just 1 night.
One more point to note - the main road up to the hotel is damaged as of June 2026 so you need to walk to and from your vehicle, maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Our driver had to hire a small motorcycle type cart to get our bags to and from the hotel.
Chefchaouen is pretty but most vendors sell made in China souvenirs - so if it will take you a long drive to get to Chefchaouen for just one night - I recommend skipping Chefchaoen. Too long of a drive for a few hours walking around a few streets.
