Living like a local

Small Riad, great if you’re on a budget, like living with a local family in the middle of the medina. Excellent personal service, and the breakfast was delicious. If you want to feel like a local this is it.

Well Located

The best breakfast we had in 4 days, Hassan is very friendly, This Riad is very well located, you are 3 minutes from el fna square. Highly recommended. Bathrooms and the rooms were clean. Everything's fine.

Quiet and friendly Riad

We spent a week here and the staff became friends. It's tucked away so nice and quiet at night, but still close to Jmaa el Fna sComfy beds and cosy blankets in winter.
A nice terrace where a lovely breakfast is served ( it's included) and a relaxing place to chill out after wandering around Marrakech

Reasonable conditions - good price / location - airport pick up service needs improvement

I stayed in Riad espagne with 8 more friends for 4 nights. We booked their service to pick us up at the airport, we exchange several emails with them giving them details of our flight (we arrived at 1h30 am). When we got to the airport we found several hotel managers waiting for they guests, however ours was nowhere to be found. We waited, we send them emails, we tried to call (but we only had a spanish number form them).. well and nothing. We were quite desperate and by the end we had 6 or 7 taxi drives fighting over us, trying to drag us. We ended up negotiating a reasonable price and divided the group between 3 taxis who left us at a nearby street and from there we tried to find our Riad walking. When we finally got to the Riad (around 4 am), I immediately asked what happened and the guy who works there acted like everything was okay and just said that he was sleeping, and that was it! No apologies.
As for the rest, the hotel was okay, for what we paid it was what we were expecting. The ground floor rooms had bit humidity and we could sometimes find cockroaches walking around. The first floor rooms were better, with good windows and light. They also had a great terrace on the top floor, perfect to spend the evenings.The breakfast was good, croissants, bread, jam, butter, coffee and milk. The lady that served us breakfast was very kind and helpful. Overall it was okay (having in mind price/quality), the location is indeed great, very close to Jemaa el fna. If you're on a budget this might be a good option!

Only Location

We selected this Riad due to its location, we spent 3 nights in New town, thankfully only one at the Espagne. Yes it’s a budget room but at very least you want clean bedding. If you what location at all costs then this is your Riad, buts that’s all you get.
