Disgusting one star hostel

Reported for fraud - love holidays for misrepresentation - Morrocco travel police - no spa , the pool was green and untouched - roof terrace and spa??? European cuisine ??? . No food choice , water to drink , rooms left unlocked , dark damp smelly not suitable for anyone - disgusting and dangerous - we were assaulted in the back alleys after being left by the transport company in the night to wander the alleys to find this place - no footpaths - no lighting - holes in the ground - the local market smells really bad , tries to be pleasant and cope but the place needs condemning and pleased we ate out and stayed out on trips - owner ignored us on the final day as I called out the fact we had bought two lots of toilet rolls and both went missing - disgusting and frightening place - - room had no window and all the photos on the sites are fake - smells like cat wee and really cold - not one nice thing to see here and I feel conned and ripped off - hardly any people and this their were traumatised by the blatant lies and missold hotel - my clothes smelled the floor was filthy and I felt dirty for the 3 nights we stayed - - never returning to Marrakesh
Trips were amazing and saved the holiday !!!!

So many other lovely Riads

This riad was absolutely nothing like advertised and should not be listed as a four-star property. In my opinion, it would struggle to qualify as even one star.
The entire place felt dirty, unsafe, and badly maintained. There were exposed plug sockets hanging off the walls, broken furniture in the bedroom, and the bathroom facilities were awful. We were given one towel that was dirty and ripped down the middle, the toilet seat was broken and didn’t stay attached properly, and the shower couldn’t even be mounted on the wall so had to be held by hand to wash.
The pool was completely unusable due to dirt and bird droppings, and there was bird mess on the tables and chairs in the breakfast area where guests were expected to eat. The upstairs outdoor space looked more like a dumping ground for old furniture and possessions than a relaxing guest area, and all of the sunbeds were broken.
The riad was also advertised as having a hammam and spa facilities, neither of which were actually available during our stay.
We raised our concerns while we were there and were told we would be moved rooms, but this never happened and nothing was resolved.
The only positive thing about this riad was Abdul, who was friendly and did his best to help despite the condition of the property itself.
I understand standards vary between countries and I was not expecting luxury, but I did expect basic cleanliness, safety, and honesty in the advertising. Unfortunately this property did not provide any of those things.

Better...

Do not trust the photos has nothing to do with what we are sold on the site, room for 4 on the ground floor not ready for our arrival, very wet, not very clean, do not lower yourself under the beds ...
Ladies who serve lunch not smiling hardly hello
Shower towels not change every day and when available, rolls of toilet paper given to the dropper.
Swimming pool impassable
Only Abdul is super friendly with his guests, smiling, joking, helpful
Well disappointed I think we can find much better than this ryad
Positive not far from Jema el fna Square 10 min walk about top

DO NOT VISIT- 0* rating

I have complained to love holidays this hotel was disgusting , paid for a room with a balcony, got a 10 x 10ft cell with no windows and refused to give me a different room. No bar, no spa. The pool was more like an atrium and was dirty and had a pipe from the ceiling dangerously dangling into it. Was not chancing the bed found a beautiful 3* hotel, and moved straight out

AVOID!!!

Absolutely disgusting, not 4 star at all. More like a 1 star if im being generous. Max 2 mins of luke warm water in the shower each morning. Filthy, stained, smelly bedding and towels. Pool unusable due to smelly dirty water. No sauna, no hammam, no spa. Building should be condemned. Wouldn't even let rats stay there!!! AVOID! surprised we didn't come home with multiple illnesses!!
