Brand New in Midelt!
It's brand new! It's right on the main street with plenty of cafes nearby. There are big and small rooms, but the small ones are perfectly adequate. Clean rooms with a table and chairs, and the bathrooms even have towel warmers (it gets cold in Midelt!). the water pressure was great in the shower. The rooms are small but well designed with headboards, and nightstands with power outlets, and lights. There was off street covered and secure parking available. Just down the street (across from the bus station) is a great Chinese restaurant "old Beijing Restaurant". ATM's just down the street.
I don't mind a little street noise and it gets quiet at night, but there are rooms on the back side with a view of the mountains. We got breakfast in a cafe next door.

In transit we spent a night in the hotel by force.
The bathrooms were (we had two rooms) small, very small. The shower was right next to the toilet, there was no process. After the shower, the bathroom, which was completely under water, had to be cleaned first. The toilet also had to be dried.
I wonder who's actually planning this.
But the worst was the stairs, which were extremely steep and slippery. My husband slipped at the top of the stairs and his suitcase and fell down the stairs. Already on the evening of our arrival we were told the stairs were slippery. Nobody says that without reason!!!
My husband has broken his shoulder and needs surgery
