Lovely hotel.

Excellent rooms, lovely swimming pool, good food and drink, and friendly and helpful staff. A great hotel to stay in if you are in Dawei. (I believe this is the only hotel in Dawei with a swimming pool. Great to relax here) Hotel also has a fully equipped gym.

Comfortable hotel with Bad Service

The hotel is with all amenities. Room was clean, but it's small as a triple room. They have well equipped gym and large pool. We stayed around 4 days, but breakfast was same for all days. They are not provide dinner . After 6.00 pm the hotel is dead. We can't get any service. They provided sauna bath facility, and it's good after a tired day. They provided shuttle service to airport. The main plus point of this hotel is, foreigners can only stay in this hotel when they visit Dawei.

Dawei get-away during the Thingyan Festival

During the Thingyan Festival in Myanmar, our small family visited there with a tour and the tour asked us to choose between two hotels. Finally, chose Hotel Dawei because of the swimming pool. As soon as we arrived the entrance of the hotel, we felt luxurious and the staffs were really put themselves out for us. Moreover, the hotel rooms are spotlessly clean and had been cleaned after coming back from visiting pagodas.
In a breakfast buffet, there were authentic cuisine and also bread, coffee, tea, juice and so on. In addition, in the evening, they treated all guests Myanmar traditional food that we usually eat in the Thingyan Festival.
This was my first time in Dawei and the trip was lovely. Only one problem - we didn't have a chance to swim because of the tight schedule of the tour. If I go Dawei again, I'll definitely stay in HOTEL DAWEI.

well done, hotel dawei crew

great hotel, quiet location, had room 327, pool view, stayed two nights.
from checking in, friendly ladies at the reception, to checking out, everything worked out fine. though there is sometimes a problem with the english language, you have to rephrase, speak slowly, i had some great stay at the dawei.
breakfast is typical for such a hotel in myanmar, had dinner twice, liked the food, price is acceptable. getting no dessert after lunch, they only offer plate with fruits, is a bit of a drawback. the one or other dessert should be on the menue.
went downtown to a bakery and got us some great desserts.
would come again, nicely located, a heaven of tranquility.

Not helpful staff/cannot print documents at the Hotel

Apparently, the Business Center is not available at the Hotel. I cannot even print 4 pages at the Hotel. The staff is not very helpful (said the printer is not working) and suggested to print in the town. Given the size and standard of the Hotel, I expect more, especially the travel and tourism industry is facing a hard time during the COVID-19 outbreak. Good luck!
