Lovely
Loved the place, the girl at the desk was so nice!
I made a mistake while booking, and she gladly fixed it. The service was just excellent.
The cube was also nice, the bed was bigger than I thought, not that much space other than the bed, but you truly get what you pay for.
The room was clean the bathroom and shower were clean.
I really enjoyed my stay, will come back

HORRIBLE, worst hostel ever.
staying at THIS HO(S)TEL was a huge disappointment and completely overpriced at €300.
Severe Noise & Zero Rest: I paid extra for a "quiet" cabin, but was placed right in front of the main entrance door. The constant foot traffic and poor sound insulation meant I could feel vibrations every time someone walked past. Noise ran from 10 PM to 1 AM and started up again by 4 AM, leaving me with only 3 hours of sleep—I even had to cancel the rest of my trip just to go home and rest.
Dirty Cabins: The area under the bed was filthy upon arrival and clearly hadn't been cleaned.
Poorly Maintained: Bathroom facilities had multiple broken fixtures in the showers.
Spending €300 to be exhausted in an unmaintained room is unacceptable. Management has been contacted for a partial refund. Save your money and stay somewhere you can actually sleep.

Generally very clean and well-kept. Bathroom shower (on the top floor) had poor water pressure. I didn’t get a confirmation email so couldn’t log into the app. Putting a timer on the lights would be nice.

This hos(t)el was really convenient for us. It is right in the centre and behind the red light district. If you are interrailing I’d recommend this at the start of the trip as the small rooms are SMALL. We had this as stop 1 and were glad not to be staying more than 2 night/at the start of our trip.

No customer service
We were really looking forward to staying here, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the customer service at check-in. Our issue started when we were told that the room shown and selected on the website isn’t necessarily the room you’ll get, as it all depends on availability. We had a simple question about the room we had booked, but the Spanish-speaking member of staff was dismissive, kept interrupting us, and his only solution was to tell us that if we weren’t happy, we could leave and get a refund.
We understand this is a hostel and weren’t expecting exceptional service, but we did expect our concerns to be listened to and treated with respect. We ended up leaving and booking another hotel. The refund was processed correctly, and the staff at check-out were lovely and professional.
I later emailed to explain our experience, but my complaint was completely ignored and I only received a reply about the refund calculation. Unfortunately, that shows up the level of customer service the establishment has.
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. It might be fine for one night if you’re just passing through Amsterdam, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again
