Dated but ok.

Suitable for stops when passing through, but nothing special otherwise. Breakfast was quite ok. The room was quite ok but lacked eg sockets by the bed.

DIRTY!!!

Very disappointing stay at Scandic Asker.
The room stayed well below the expected standard. I had to sleep on an outcast extra bed that was very uncomfortable, and the result was a bad night’s sleep. There was also sex hair on the glass in the shower that was terribly disgusting. The bathroom was not washed properly,eventually not on the shower glass. In addition, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the room appeared as worn, uninviting and far from what I expect when I pay for a hotel stay.
This was simply not a good hotel experience. When you book a room at Scandic, you expect a certain quality and a clean and comfortable place to sleep. Unfortunately this stay did not deliver on the most basic things.

Warm and dense air

Warm and dense air in the room. Dirty floor and was not cleaned, saved up or changed towel on our stay. Good breakfast. Near the train station. Trangt and full parking. No access to charging for car, only ordinary outlet that was never free.

Four stars? Not for hospitality, not for amenities, not for maintenance.

You can't set air conditioning yourself. If you open the window, the air conditioning goes off (on each window is an expensive sensor). The reception must arrange, per room, the air conditioning. If you are in a room a little further from the central hall: hours later still no working air conditioning. No breakfast after the end time even if you got in on time: a curtain goes around the buffet. Unannounced work in the parking garage that prevented you from leaving, an empty breakfast buffet (and nothing more to supplement it) after Asian groups, well before the end time of breakfast. Restaurant that is open in the evenings which is not known anywhere. Hotel in need of an upgrade, also because it is built and furnished with moderate quality.

Very bad experience

We arrived 20:30 to the hotel, and wanted reception staff more than 45 minutes with a long queue of other guests. Finally after calling to Scandic info we reached the hotel reception staff from cleaning the rooms. Kids were tired and staff almost cried being stressed and overwhelmed with work load. This seems awful how Scandic level has dropped down and how they have no enough staff in July weekends. Receptions door was also wide open to guests to enter, which can’t be good.
