Tactical and with a great view

Very nice hotel, with reception and restaurant on the 11th floor, with the runway in plain sight. Spacious, wide, clean room. Excellent breakfast. The only downside, the distance from the airport is 20 minutes on foot, 5 by taxi or by shuttle at a cost of 70 crowns per person. In this type of hotel, the shuttle is usually free

An excellent hotel – it’s my first time at Moxy

This was my first time staying at a Moxy hotel, and I am very pleased. The room wasn't large, but it was comfortable, featuring a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Cleanliness was impeccable. Undoubtedly, the highlight of the hotel was the shared reception and bar area on the top floor, which offered a fantastic view of the fjords and the adjacent airport. There is also an outdoor terrace, making the spot ideal for plane spotters. The hotel itself is located just one and a half kilometers from the airport and is easily accessible on foot. Although it is four kilometers from the city center, you can still get there by walking or by using the well-organized public transport system. With a terminal and two stops located within 300 meters of the hotel, renting a car isn't necessary. The rate I paid was exceptionally good—around 120 euros per night. Breakfast is served on the top floor, where the bar is located, and it’s actually quite good; as an Ambassador member, I got it for free (which is perhaps unusual for Moxy).The rooms are well soundproofed, and taking-off or landing planes are barely audible (unless a plane is taking off from the near end of the runway). I would also like to specifically commend the excellent service at both the reception and the bar, as well as the bar itself.

Wish we'd stayed here longer!

We only stayed here one night when we got in, but I loved it! Wish we'd stayed longer! Felt like an American hotel: decent room size, normal shower. Beautiful views and free drinks up on the top floor when we arrived.

Not a hotel at all for working people, or those who love food.

Because of work I have had to stay here for weeks at a time. A miserable hotel with miserable service. Starting early at work at 7:00. So trying to get breakfast a little earlier than 06:30 is completely impossible, since the person who is at work there in the morning is unfinished and sour, and does not understand anything at all.
The rest of the food on the menu is not edible. It's made at the reception, and they have a couple of heaters there. So reception, restaurant and bar in the same area are some shit. If there's a bus load with people checking in, it's almost just forgetting to get ordered there.
Drive away from this hotel!!!!

Good place stay/close to airport

We stayed at the hotel and had a positive experience. The view from the rooftop reception/bar area is awesome! They have both an outdoor terrace and a large indoor area from which to enjoy it via floor-to-ceiling windows. We were fortunate to have the same view from our room.
The room was clean and about the size you would expect for a Moxy. Its close proximity to the airport was especially convenient on our departure day. The staff seemed somewhat inexperienced but were friendly and helpful.
A downside is that parking is not included and must be paid for separately. Be sure to start payment for the parking immediately as cameras will take a picture of your rental car as you enter the parking lot and if you do not start a parking session immediately, they will send the bill to your rental car agency, which will charge an additional fee. Also, do not use Parkly, the parking app advertised in the hotel parking lot and the hotel elevators. Use the Easy Park app that is widely used elsewhere in Norway.
It is also worth noting that the hotel is not located near the harbor, so having a rental car allowed us to explore the town fully.
