Terrible! Get out of the way!!
This is one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had.
As soon as we opened the door to the room, a strong, stale, and unpleasant air hit us. The room and the hotel in general appeared very worn, and in our opinion, the standard was far from what we expected based on the presentation on Booking.com and the hotel's stated three stars.
We barely managed to get into the room before we decided we couldn't stay here. We immediately went down to the reception and explained the situation. We had not used the room and asked for the money back.
The answer from the reception?
"I cannot pay back the money."
No real solution. No attempt to find another room. No particular understanding that we had paid 3,600 kroner for a hotel night we could not accept using.
It is difficult to understand how one can charge 3,600 kroner for an overnight stay when the guest immediately reacts to the conditions and doesn't even want to use the room.
For us, this is therefore not just about a cramped hotel room. It is about the relationship between price, expectation, and what you actually get – and not least how the hotel treats a customer when something is obviously not right.
We had expected a hotel experience. We had an experience that made us turn in the door.

We are not coming back, and based on our experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to others.
This is our personal experience of the stay and how the matter was handled upon arrival.

Poor condition, extremely expensive and poor service
Ordered small cabin for heidundrende 2200,- per night. When we arrive it is not possible to connect to the free internet, in the shower was showering hot water that did not go to get colder, the "recall button" on the toilet was broken, and did not always go ann to pull up. There was dog hair in the mattress and duvets, and we were 3 pcs who are allergic.
When we complained on the internet in the reception, we were told that the guard would come and look at it, but they didn't show up until the 2 days we were there. When I realized that complaining at the front desk didn’t help, I emailed Trones Hotel and Camping the day after we arrived, but over a week later they still haven’t answered the email. When I called the following week to hear about refunds, I was told that I had never complained during my stay, and that the complaint email I sent was sent after we had been there, which is completely wrong.
The hotel and cabins are in poor condition anyway, and recommend no one to go there unless the prisebe is strongly twisted down.

Freaky staff and unpleasant atmosphere
The room was nice and fit size, fun with two floors for the child.
The staff, however, was freaky and nothing pleasant. Asked if we had not included gluten-free foods even when we asked if they had gluten-free offers for breakfast the next day. (Has never been a problem with gluten free in the previous years) And when we came to order dinner, the same man stood in the dish, and when we asked in a nice way, if some of the food was gluten free the answer was frekt "now I have arranged gluten free bread for you for tomorrow, what more do you think I should do?!". None of the food was labeled with allergens either, which they are required to do. Feel it was generally dirty too.

Disappointed. Doesn't stand the price you pay.
The campsite was poorly kept, grass and edges not cut. The online price says 350 kr for a mobile, but you will have to pay 500 kr when you get there. At it was wild west how the mobile cars were parked, no note and 4 m were not held. Clean in the service house and the cabins looked fine inside, but lack to cut grass around.
