Taroland

Modest and cheap hostel with chillout and calm atmosphere. Beds are clean and comfortable. Room includes fan. Luggage space and locker available. Close to beach and city centre but enough far to stay in peace from noisy marketplace.

Best hostel in town!

The Taroland is a very nice hostel close to the beach and the center. The owner is super friendly and relaxed.
It has a nice outside area and garden with hammocks where you can relax.
It just has a very good atmosphere!
I can highly recommend this hostel!

Cheap sleep

Indeed the place doesn't look like in the pictures. The dorm was quite depessive, very small and hot, with old fans hanging over your head. The walls were humid and in general it needs some serious renovation! For the same price there are better places in the area.

Cheap sleep

The owner is very friendly and helpful and it's a budget place to stay. But I found the reality is not quite how it looks in the photos, it's a bit more bare and basic.
The room was very small, the bunk beds are really squashed in. It was really hot and full of mosquitos, as was the shared bathroom. It was bad for mosquitos all over the town due to recent rains but that seemed worse than elsewhere.

Best place to chill and rest

I really enjoyed my stay in Taroland. Sato, the owner, is very nice and friendly, he will give you information about the place and around. Rooms are nice, you can have some good rest there, but my favorite place was the common area and the backyard, perfect to refresh from the heat. Very well located, close by the beach and other several places. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that you can't cook your own food, so you'll have to look for it outside. The rest, perfect!
