Nice and great location

We stayed at Tornado while we explored the sacred valley including Machu Pichu. Our guide would come by each morning to pick us up and would not have far to drive. Breakfasts were very good, served to the table instead of buffet and included in the price. Hotel staff was nice. I think this hotel is too new to be discovered by a lot of tourists because it was pretty empty while we were there, but I found no good reason it would not be popular.

Hardes bed in the world? no Air conditioning

Stayed September 2015 for 4 nights. We had the hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on, I have been in hundreds of hotel rooms but my bed was the first one I could not sleep on due to hardness. I asked to move rooms (hotel was almost empty) and I was told that all the beds in the hotel are as hard as the one I tried to sleep on. We added two blankets and two comforters under the sheet and it was almost acceptable. The Hotel was helpful providing the bedding needed to pillow top my rock hard mattress. My room had no window to the outside; window in room was into the hall and open dining area. No elevator. No Air conditioning, none, not in any room so you may have to open your window. Since my window opened to interior of hotel and the hotel is not Air conditioned anywhere it may still be way to hot. Outside of hotel is a heavy use road so if you open a window to the outside the noise could be a problem. Road does get quiet after midnight.

New and comfortable.

The Hotel Tornado met expectations for a typical 3 star hotel catering to foreign tourists. My family and I stayed here for 2 nights while exploring the Sacred Valley on our way to Machu Picchu. Located close to the main drag in Urubamba and across the road from the swanky Tambo del Inca so everything you need is handy. The hotel is pretty new and was very comfortably appointed. Hot water was plentiful and satellite TV available if you wanted it. Laundry service for an additional fee. Hearty breakfast made fresh everyday. The staff is a little inexperienced but very accommodating and helpful.

Великолепные завтраки, которые готовят специально для вас, свежевыжатые соки из папайи, просторные номера, очень приятная обслуга, которая, увы, не говорит на англ, зато с радостью поможет чем сможет.
