Located a few steps from Bounty Beach, Malapatel offers 5-star accommodation in Logon and features massage services. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property.

Good value, would stay here again!
I stayed 6 nights, diving with Thresher Shark Divers, which was right next door. Perfect location if I may add! It’s a short walk from the market and Logon Beach and the pier, and is just set back from Bounty Beach. There’s a small local eating house downstairs, Joshua Al Fresco, which is very good too.
The room was clean and the balcony was great for drying wet swimwear and dive gear. Do note that there can be a strong smell of BBQ food from surrounding restaurants, so that might stick to clothes hung out to dry. The AC worked well and there was hot water, though the water pressure was just okay. The blanket was a thin sheet, but that works if you don’t set the AC too cold. You can hear the music from surrounding shops in the room, but they’re quite good at turning things down by 9:30pm.
Breakfast is not provided, so do come prepared, especially if planning to do 5am thresher shark dives. The restaurants in the vicinity open at 7 or 8am, which means breakfast can be a bit rushed if diving in the morning.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay here, it’s very good for the price! The local family that runs it are very friendly and helpful. They have two resident dogs, both of whom are very polite : ) I would definitely stay here again!

DO NOT COME AT CHRISTMAS!!!
People go to Malapascua to dive, that means waking up at 4am . However no one will warn you that in late December, the local bars and clubs play techno music until the early hours of the morning. We are still here and literally considering sleeping on the beach due to the unbearable bass coming from local techno parties. We came here last year for in early December, we had no idea we would have to go THREE NIGHTS without sleep due to the loud music that plays nearly all night, if we knew this normally quiet Islam turned into f@cking Thailand over Christmas, we would have never have come. This is utterly unbearable.

Local families and businesses across the island—just like in many Filipino communities—celebrate with loud music and gatherings that often continue late into the night. This is part of the local culture, and unfortunately, it affects the entire island, no matter where you stay.
We completely understand how difficult that can be, especially for early morning divers. If you prefer a quieter experience, we’d recommend visiting earlier in December or outside of the major holidays. Still, we hope the beauty of Malapascua and the warm hospitality made your trip memorable in other ways.

I came to see the island even if I couldn’t go for diving the place, the stuff is really great and definitely to rec omm
It’s absolutely fantastic,
Harby and Marilyn are a perfect help what ever you need or ask for, they are awesome
I highly recommend them and the Place
The room has everything you need and it’s close to beach and restaurant

Amazing and excellent hotel‼️
It was our great stay. Facility and room are so clean and neat. Good access from the malapascua port, market, main beach, dive shops and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance.
Staffs are very friendly, kind and easy going local people.
Wifi was good for me to use internet.
I would love to come back again soon.

Wonderful Stay
Stayed here for more than 2 months. The room is clean and close to the beach, market place and dive shops. Best location in the island, quiet and serene. It is family-owned and managed and the staff are very friendly.
