Nice and clean hostel

Chilli Hostel Krakow is located not exactly in the city center but not too far (12 min by tram or 30 min by foot to Main Market Square). The hostel is clean and has NO kitchen (keep it in mind). In general it was nice experience to stay in the Chilli Hostel.

Good place to stay with friends

Good hostel. Situated near center( just 5 min by tram) and Schindler’s Factory. Near tram and bus stops and a lot of supermarkets. Quiet and clean place. Without kitchen, but it’s a lot places in Cracow where you can eat.
Definitely will return again.

Chili Hostel in Podgórze

PLUS: nice and helpful staff; free earplugs; nicely decorated bathroom; small balcony; possibility of payment by card; curtains by beds; blinds on windows; close to tram stop; several small markets nearby;
ON THE MINUS: room no. 2 with windows overlooking a busy street with trams; you must use plugs when windows are open; poor quality duvets and pillows; no typical kitchen in the facility;

Dangerous, Avoid!!

DANGEROUS!!
Absolutely awful! There was a man in our room, that I think lives there who threatened my partner in the middle of the night. Even though there was no drinking allowed on the premises, he was absolutely wasted. I would even dare call this place a dangerous place to stay in.
AVOID!!
The man in our room had taken over every bed and corner that wasn't used with his belongings.
All 4 of us slept approx an hour because the room was not quiet at all!! The drunks in the other rooms (whom also presumably live there) watched movies till the late hours and kept turning it up. When asked if they could lower the volume slightly because it was passed 11pm, it was met with drunk shouting, and threatening hand gestures.
Never again! We left in the early morning and hope for a refund.

AVOID!!!

Got there at night only to be met bulky a hostel that did not at all resemble the nice pictures online. There was a (dirty looking) kitchen in the hallway where the pictures showed a mirror. The pictures also all looked cozy and clean, but in reality it was dirty and sketchy. There was mold in the shower and you could see into the toilets (these were unisex btw so anyone can see in). The receptionist service was ok, she was friendly. We were initially given a room that had no other roommates, but we were requested to change rooms because she needed to clean ours (should have been done before our arrival). This would have been no problem, if it weren't for our new roommate. We were in a 6 bedroom shared room of which our roommate had taken two for himself. One for sleeping and one for dumping his trash on. It looked like he had been living there for a while. He was watching tv loudly and refused to turn it down even at 10pm while we were all trying to sleep. He was drinking and smoking frequently (not in the room) so the room smelt like smoke and he was drunk. He would get hostile when asked to keep it quiet in the middle of the night. The environment itself also was extremely loud, so after a terrible sleep, we had decided to leave and look for another hostel. The receptionist was no where to be found, so our only option was to leave the keys on the desk and check ourselves out. Please to yourself a favour and avoid this place!!!!
