An elegant property, a wonderful team and a memorable stay in Kraków.
As a fellow hotelier, I always appreciate a property where genuine hospitality and attention to detail can be felt throughout the entire guest experience. Hotel Copernicus in Kraków is exactly that kind of hotel.
This lovely Relais & Châteaux property combines elegance, character and a wonderful sense of place. Our suite was spacious, beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location is ideal for discovering Kraków.
A special recognition goes to my fellow European hotelier, Joana, the General Manager, whose leadership is clearly reflected in her team. From the bellhop and reception staff to our breakfast server, every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional and attentive to the smallest details.
Beautiful surroundings are important, but it is the people who truly define a hotel experience. Joana and her team understand hospitality, and it shows.

Good location in the Old City. But overall stay was uninspiring - rooms are tired, air conditioning did not work well, staff were generally unhelpful, breakfast was overpriced. No bar / common areas. Would stay elsewhere next time.

An amazing experience in Krakow
The hotel is a remarkable combination of historic and modern. Our room had 15th century frescoes, a sitting area, a platform bed and beautiful painted wood ceiling, like something you would pay to walk through in a historic site, but also a modern marble bathroom and all the expected amenities. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel is perfectly located next to the castle and minutes from the central square. After a long day seeing sights, relax in the pool, which appears to be in a medieval arched grotto. The hotel is really part of the experience. The price is also remarkably reasonable, about half of what I might have expected.

Incredible hotel in a building from the 1500s. Has pool and spa. You need to stay here.
Unbelievable hotel in Old Town that was once a townhouse from the 1500s. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you realize it is extraordinary. Our room was comfortable and impeccably decorated. The rooftop lounge has amazing views. The pool and spa are in the antique basement and are not to be missed. Even if you don't use them, you need to see them. The bar area is comfortable and the remnants of the murals on the walls are fascinating. The front desk personnel are incredibly cordial and eager to make sure your stay is perfect. While we did not eat at the restaurant, it was crowded during dinner and it looked like everyone was enjoying their meals. This is a hotel we will absolutely return.
