Incredibly bad!
Worst customer experience ever encountered in a hotel.
Upon trying to book by phone, noone could be reached for hours under the booking phone.
I should have been suspicious, but I unfortunately wasn't, so I booked online.
Suddenly the same number that was unavailable for ages called me up after booking on their page, stating it wouldn't be possible anymore to pay by card from this time of the day on (31.08.24, 15:45).
Instead I would have to pay cash - of course ATM fees would be my problem, not theirs.
Felt pretty suspicious, but since I already booked, I went with it and bit the bullet.
Upon arrival (not even 7pm yet), the place was all open, no receptionist to be found for a long time, only the TV running behind the desk showing local soccer.
Whoever could have entered into the hotel premises without anyone noticing, felt highly insecure!
After a considerable wait - and calling all possible hotel numbers, most just ringing at the empty reception, the receptionist was finally reached and came from wherever he was hiding from work.
The receptionist commanded me around during check-in (31.08.24 7pm) to fill out the registration form etc. and was as aggressive as possible with questions of mine - even though I had filled out all of my information already online during booking. He even started ripping the pen out of my hands as he got more and more impatient.
When I asked for his name, he repeatedly refused to tell me his name.
Instead he started shouting at me to a point it got physically uncomfortable.
He even went ahead to void my data privacy by showing my filled registration form with all my private information including ID number, address etc. to another hotel guest, obviously complaining about my in his opinion too sloppy handwriting. He didn't care about my ask and complaint not to disclose my personal information to strangers.
He - and also the morning staff refused to hand me a complaint form - which the hotel is required to provide by law.
The morning staff (01.09.24, 9:00) couldn't have cared less about my uncomfortable to frightening experience with her night shift colleague, didn't even react upon my complaint, not even speaking of and protective action of hers.
The hotel is run down, so are the rooms. Dripping toilet flush, broken bed frame, useless air conditioning are just some of its unpleasant 'features'.
With whatever confronted, be it law breaking behaviour or other issues, the staff is just shrugging shoulders, stating the hotel will be closed anyways soon for a general renovation - which explains why nothing is being fixed but guests need to live with all of what's broken and pay for it in full.

Robbery in the room
When we left we forgot a wallet with 300€ in the safe with key. And we came back for them hours after the check out and they told us there was nothing and to leave. We can say we've been robbed at the hotel. I don't recommend it for nothing, very bad treatment, no room cleaning, and poor facilities and the robbery no longer has serious words. I can only say they are thieves and rude
