Nice and cosy

Stayed at the hotel. It is situated in a quiet location and it is nice and cosy. Clean rooms, and friendly staff.
We had a minor problem, but the staff resolved it quickly. The pool is only open is summer.

Stay away!

No way this hotel is a 3star , the room was horrible, uncomfortable beds, the sheets wasn't changed, don't even want to remember about the bathroom... we had to stay only because it was to late and we were too tired to search for another one...

Beds with no pillows, terrible food & internet

Big spacious rooms with some of the rooms have air conditioning which worked well. The beds have no pillows, just a soft mattress and a duvet. Large TV with no English speaking channels. one chair and a desk with no socket near so had to move the desk to beside the bed where there was a socket. The TV and air conditioner were plugged into the only other socket in the room. Bedside lights were so high up so could only be switched on and off if a person was standing up way out of the reach of a short woman. Nice smelling towels and a could supply of hot water in the shower unit in the bathroom, two shower gel packets provided as were 2 soap bars.
The food was absolutely awful and ran straight out of you. Evening meal consisted of a semolina pancake with sour cream. The main course was some sort of rolled meat with rice followed by a doughnut. Beer, wine and mineral water cost around six Lei per person. In the morning only a stewed blackcurrant tea was provided. A tiny cup of black coffee or a glass of water cost five Lei per cup/glass. Everyone in the group was horrified at this and many had no Lei left in order to have a tiny cup of coffee. No juice, no yoghurt only stale bread and each person had a plate on which were a tomato, 3 small slices of cheese and 3 small slices of some sausage like material. There was also a pat of butter. Bowls of jam were provided.
The hotel seemed to have two routers and the strength from both in the room was poor and kept dropping out. Down at reception the strength was medium. Many pages would not load at all and everything was extremely slow.
The hotel is a least three kilometres from the centre of the town and was surrounded by houses and at the back of the hotel semi derelict warehouses. There were Penny and Lidl supermarkets close by and the tramline was ten mins walk away. There was no lift and there was no help with the luggage so many in the group had problems with their luggage. The hotel claimed for three stars and most said it did not even deserve one star. It would have been better to sleep on a bench in a park than in this hotel.
The reception staff were friendly but in the restaurant very rude and when some refused to pay for the tiny cup of black coffee at breakfast there was a hell of a row as most people had no Lei left as this was our last and worst night in Roumania. Never had anyone had to pay to have coffee with their breakfast before..

A simple budget hotel

I was there in March for a 3 weeks business trip. Hotel was ok, simple and nothing extra. Breakfast was ok, enough and fresh. Room was quite big. Ask room not near the step, because at night it can be loud.
