Maple Grove is tops

Our stay at Maple Grove in Hogsback was absolutely wonderful!
A beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by nature, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable and well looked after, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the Hogsback trails.
The beautiful gardens, streams and peaceful surroundings really made the stay special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend Maple Grove to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Hogsback.
We loved it and will definitely be back!

Needs an upgrade

The road to Hogsback is like a Swiss mountain road. However, the road in Hogsback was an experience - best with a 4x4.
The owner, Lindsay Walker gave us a warm welcome and we stayed in The Chalet. Living, dining and outside area is nice. Bedroom with the bath spacious, but our room with the shower cramped. No chance to charge your phone if you did not bring an adaptor.
Shower / toilet area were extremely small and the shower badly tiled with mould on the grouting.
The duvet and linnen needs to be upgraded but the under blanket heating worked well.

The Cottage at Maple Grove

We had a blissful stay at Maple Grove. The surroundings and birdlife are beautiful. It was an absolute joy to be there. Lyndsay is lovely and most helpful.

Cozy and warm in Hogsback

It is a gorgeous cozy cottage with everything you need. I loved my stay here. Lindsay is warm and friendly - the perfect host.

Home away from Home

Maple Grove truly feels like a little home away from home. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful garden views make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin is exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could need, including a gas stove, microwave, gas kettle, electric kettle, air fryer, a large fridge with a freezer, an indoor fireplace, and a portable braai outside.
The hosts are incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, and you can genuinely see the love and care they've put into every detail of the property. It is very well priced, making it excellent value for money. We had such a comfortable and memorable stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maple Grove to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.
