A little gem
Myself and partner have just come back from a 4 night stay and the hotel and staff were superb from moment we arrived until we left very pleasant..I have read reviews saying different but we had no issues with the staff always smiling and.happy to help
We went B&B as the breakfast we thought we would try evening meal and at 15 euro a head was well worth it and could easily charge more.lots of choice and once again from the coks to the waiters waitress and the coffee guy all lovely people ..we are hoping for a return in jusly we had room 204 lived our view and room ..we have had never heard of can picafort and cant wait to go back ..have to say there are alot of Germans at this hotel ..thank you for your hospitality from Lee and Gillian from Bonnie Scotland

My experience at Hotel THB Gran Bahia
Location: Great location, easy walk up and down the coast. Lots of restraunts and bars nearby.
Check in and staff: Mostly great, check in was a breeze.
Food and drink: Only had breakfast. It was mediocre. Wouldn't pay for it, rather go for a croissant and coffee elsewhere but that's personal preference. Hotel bar operation is weird, owned by other people who have their dogs and family taking up half the venue. Weird. Nevertheless, friendly.
Cleanliness: Good. My room was clean and the hotel appeared clean if just slightly dated. On some days the the pool was a bit dirty by the end of the day.
This was the deal breaker for me the ROOM.
I booked a single room ----- which is advertised and shown on the hotel website and third party websites as being a room designed for people on their own but still with a larger bed. ------- I stayed in 105, it was a small single bed in a tiny room. The balcony was tiny, with no privacy and mostly obstructed view. The sun poured through the window in the bathroom and directly into the room through the frosted glass door every morning at sunrise. When I asked the reception staff about this I was told pay extra 20 euro a night my own fault for booking it.

Beautiful hotel by the beach
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Room was clean, staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast was superb and tasty. The hotel is well located, safe area. Beach is beautiful. Option of different balcony views with different prices. Highly recommend

THB Gran Bahía Apart/Hotel
We stayed at the Gran Bahía in the apartments. My husband had an accident on the first day and was in hospital for two days. The staff went over and above to help make life easier for us, such as providing free wheelchair use, providing a special diet free of charge. They could not have helped anymore to make our holiday be the best it could be in the circumstances. Would highly recommend the hotel, apartments, area and particularly the staff.

Overall I would say this is a very nice hotel.
Location
It has an excellent location right on top of the beach, loads of restaurants and bars located within 10 minutes walk as well as shops etc.
Food
We only had breakfast as we ate out for dinner in the evenings at a number of the restaurants. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety. Standard hot food breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage etc as well as all kinds of pastries, fresh pancakes/waffles and so on.
Room
The best part of the room was the air conditioning, it was nearly 35 degrees the week we was there and the a/c was a life saver. The only downside to our room was that the in the bathroom whenever you had a shower because there was no curtain or glass the water would go everywhere almost flooding the bathroom! Other than that, bed was comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space and a nice sized balcony.
Pool
I have to say this is one of the only places I have been where I actually witnessed the pool staff enforcing the 'no reserving sunbeds' rule. I saw many times the lifeguard take towels off beds that had been there for a while and so we had no problem getting a sunbed when we wanted one.
