Splendid well priced accommodation

This small family run hotel is in the centre of a reasonably sized village in rural Spain. It is ideally situated for visits to local attractions like Segovia, Pedraza and the Parque de las Hoces del Duratón. The rooms are comfortable and complete with good bathrooms and A/C. They are serviced daily with fresh towels. Breakfast is basic, consisting of bread/toast, pastries, juice and coffee and is all you need. If you want more there are 3 supermarkets nearby. The host spoke no English but we managed to communicate well. We were given plenty of free cold water bottles when we wanted them, which was very welcome in the August heat. We would definitely come back if we needed to stay in the area. We stayed 4 nights on this occasion.

Dismal service

They kept the ID. After claiming it multiple times and making pilgrim apologies (the zip code is missing, I didn't know the address and it comes in the ID, etc.) they tell me that they no longer have it. After a month and a half without showing up I had to ask the police for a copy with the consequent expense and waste of time.
Also comment that on entering I pay you the room and , asking you for the bill tells me that if I want it, I have to pay seniors the VAT. I think it’s a creepy thing because I think that when you pay for a service, (a menu, a coffee, etc.) you are already taxed.

Such a cute, authentic place with an amazingly nice owner!

We loved our stay in this cute hotel, it felt so authentic, cosy, and homy! Our room was nice, clean and comfortable and the balcony and the views were amazing. The best thing was the owner - incredibly nice and very patient with my Spanish ! Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay!!!

Room well, location well, cleanliness very well and very friendly.

We found the hostel for a breakdown in our vehicle that kept us a couple of days in the area. Obviously not a 5 star hotel but the rooms are fine, everything very clean, well located with bars right next door where breakfast and lunch and very friendly and attentive staff.

Perfect for a getaway

I can only say good things about this hotel. The entrance as well as the exit was very fast and we were even given a bottle of cold water for the road.
The room was spotless as well as the bathroom all new. And the unbeatable price. If we had to go back to the area of course we would repeat.
