Located 26 km -45 minutes by car from Cazorla and right at the heart of the Cazorla Nature Reserve, in stunning natural surroundings, the Parador de Cazorla is perfect accommodation for a rural getaway in the north east of Andalusia.

How I envisioned it would be
This Parador is within a national park, 35 minutes from the closest town. Getting to it is via a very twisty mountain road. Those who don’t like that type road should consider another location. It is good for outdoors enthusiasts or for those who just want piece and quiet.
Once there, visitors are greeted with a stunning view of the mountains. The Parador isn’t overly large. Parking is in a courtyard and there is an EV charging point. Check in was easy. There’s a cozy, yet decent sized lounge for relaxing or for groups to gather.
The room was fairly standard for a Parador and had everything one needs. It looked out over the mountains; not all rooms do. Neither complimentary water nor a pot for boiling water was provided like in some Paradors, but there were hiking poles that came in handy when walking a couple of the trails by the hotel.
The staff was very cordial and helpful.

Low quality at a luxury price.
Total disappointment and very expensive for the poor quality of the facilities, wonderful and attentive staff, bathroom faucet broken and sink.

What a top hotel located in the serene tranquility of the mountains in t natural park
Rooms are nice clean and big shower in bath is super private courtyard to park ,
You arrive by road in get nature reservehilly hairpin bends

I am going to give it an outstanding rating.
I am a customer of paradores, and except for some horrible exceptions, the quality/price ratio is very acceptable. This time, I must speak about the exceptional nature of the staff, starting at the reception and continuing with the bar and restaurant service. The parador is good, but it is these people who make it exceptional.
