Quiet, welcoming and very familiar setting

Unforgettable experience, thanks to Nerea and her parents for everything, exquisite dinners thanks to the good hand her mother has with the kitchen, everything was 10, good value for money, we will definitely return, 2 satisfied bikers

Culinary pleasure in nature

The owners are a charm, the food 100% homemade time and patience, good quantity and quality, I would repeat without hesitation.
We must give more voice to these sites so that their essence is never lost, I wish them well and hope that they will continue for many more years.

A place to return

I have been going to this rural house for two years and, God willing, I will go next summer. That is to say, if we repeat it is because we feel comfortable there, because they treat us very well and because, finally, they prepare wonderful meals. Little more to say....

Very Pleasant

This rural hotel is a few kms up in the hills behind Deba town in a rustic but well maintained building. The main business seemed to be meals but there are several rooms to let as well. My room was on the small side but very smart with pumpkin colour walls, tiled floor and patterned bedspread reflecting the wall colour. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was small and shower so tiny that I kept bumping the control alternately freezing and boiling myself. Not really too much of a complaint when there is ample hot water. The building has a large guest lounge that was closed, probably due to covid. The wifi did not work at all in the room but was strong and stable in the restaurant where I had dinner. There was a reasonable selection of good, plain food that seemed to be a draw for non-guest diners. Being rural the hotel was very quiet during the night. For those with lots of energy there is a short cut, steep, walking track down to Deba that cuts out quite a bit from the road journey.
Overall, this was a very pleasant place to spend a night while walking the Camino de Santiago and the short cut track was a useful trick to get back on the Camino in Deba.

Superb experience so typical of the area

Really enjoyed our visit here, the owner couldn't have been more helpful, spending time to sort out our luggage transfer and making sure our meal choices were what we wanted.
A bit off the Camino track but so worth it!
