Flights from Christchurch to Wellington – 50% savings in June
If you haven’t been to Wellington yet, you’re really missing out. This is New Zealand’s city of culture, and where you’ll find our most important museum, Te Papa, which shows off all our cool indigenous history, as well as our complex colonial one. There’s also the parliament, the lookout on Mount Victoria, the stunning Botanic Gardens, and the wild eco-park.
Windy Welly’s city centre is a hipster haven with plenty of cool bars, restaurants, pop-up eateries, and events venues. Affectionately known as Wellywood thanks to Peter Jackson and the Weta Workshop, Wellington boasts the Weta Cave and Workshop which has turned the South Island into the de jour travel destination for every fantasy adventurer in the world. Lastly, Welly has multi-level houses perching on undulating hills, a gorgeous harbour, a bumping bohemian centre, and despite it’s reputation of being NZ’s Hollywood, it’s vibe is a lot more like San Francisco, so go already!
Cheap flights to Wellington are also available from Auckland, with savings in June of up to 42%.
Flights from Auckland to Sydney – 29% savings in June
Ah, our arch nemesis. We compete with this city every time someone asks the question ‘should we go to Australia or New Zealand?’ and we’d be angry, but Sydney is a beautiful city, and as hard as it is to admit, totally worth visiting.
There are the iconic sites of the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Centre Point, but there is more to the city than just those three landmarks. See the Botanic Gardens, hop on a boat and tour the harbour from Circular Quay, have high tea in the Queen Victoria Building, and say hi to the koalas at Taronga Zoo. If that hasn’t got you face planting into your hotel bed, then you can add dancing in the clubs of King’s Cross, discovering the boho chic eateries of Newtown, shopping in downtown, and touring the beach lookouts at Bondi and Coogee to your Sydney itinerary.
You can also fly from Christchurch and save up to 18% on your flights to Sydney.
Flights from Christchurch to Seoul – 21% savings in June
Slick, sophisticated Seoul is where you will find a lot of the cutting edge trends in technology, fashion, makeup and music are born, thanks to K-Pop, Samsung, and YouTube celebs wild for East Asian style.
Seoul has a deep heart and a rich history, and you can explore its more recent history by going to the National Museum of Korea or to the Demilitarized Zone, or look into the past by seeing its five (yes, FIVE) palaces. These are perfectly preserved windows into history, with the Changdeokgung palace a favourite with visitors thanks to its gorgeous gardens. In between the palaces, you’ll find the Bukchon Hanok Village, where traditional houses cluster and hide teahouses, boutique shops, and awesome street food vendors.
The food is to die for here; from traditional Korean BBQ, to bibimbap, hangover stews (they’re really called that), samgyeopsal grilled pork belly eateries, and their skewered and deep fried street eats. You’ll come back 5 kilos heavier than when you left, and you will (probably) not regret a single gram.
Best of all, Seoul is in the northern hemisphere, which means you can break out your jandals once more and say hello to the summertime.
Flights from Auckland to Gold Coast – 20% savings in June
Of course if the beach is your thing, then the Gold Coast is your ticket. Even in June average daytime temperatures are 20-25°C, high enough to top up your tan if you fancy spending some time by the sea. If not, there are plenty of other activities you can enjoy here, such as golf, sailing, or hiking.
If you’re with the family, enjoy the Gold Coast’s theme parks like Warner Bros. Move Studio, Dreamworld, and Seaworld. If you’re on holiday with your mates, there are casinos, nightclubs, and tons of restaurants and bars to enjoy.
Flights from Auckland to New Delhi – 20% savings in June
Delhi is the gateway to India. It’s the closest major city to the phenomenal Taj Mahal but the city itself also has its own charms.
Don’t be put off by its hustle and bustle, because Delhi is one of those places that opens itself up to those who bother to look; there’s the neat, wide, tree-lined avenues of New Delhi where the parliament buildings are located, and the stunning Humayun’s Tomb, a series of Mughal buildings that make for a perfect pre-cursor to any journey out to see the Taj.
Deli also has the fragrant, cramped, winding streets of Old Delhi where you will be tempted by street food, charmed by vendors, and awed by the great mosque, Jama Masjid, and the incredible Red Fort.
Beyond the famed sites, Delhi is a heap-ton of fun, with great restaurants, bars, and dance clubs that give its sister-city Mumbai a run for its money.
Flights from Auckland to Tongatapu – 12% savings in June
If you haven’t heard of Tongatapu, where have you been? One of the greatest advantages of being flung out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is our cruisey proximity to some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Cheap flights to Tongatapu, the main island of our Polynesian neighbour Tonga, are easy to come by in June, and it would be criminal not to snap them up.
Not only does Tongatapu boast equatorial weather (IN JUNE), this island has all the paradisaical trappings of a Robinson Crusoe adventure: white sands, turquoise waters, emerald palm trees, crystalline waterfalls – need we go on? Diving, snorkelling, fishing, boating, sunbathing are all musts, but don’t forget to see some of Tonga’s best cultural and natural sites, like Ha’amonga ‘a Maui (often dubbed the Stonehend of the South Pacific), the Mu’a archeological relics, the exciting Talamahu Market, the Hufangalupe Archway, and the Mapu’a ‘a Vaea blowholes.
Flights from Wellington to Brisbane – 11% savings in June
Brisbane is the perfect panacea for anyone craving a getaway in June, because it blends the warm winter days you usually find on an island, with big city attractions. It’s a much bigger city than Welly, so a trip here can tick all the boxes when it comes to finding great places to eat, awesome events, interesting museums, cool bars, and decadent nightclubs.
There’s plenty of cultural and outdoorsy things to do in the city too, whether you’re looking to go down the cultural route and dip into the galleries on the South Bank, wanting to cruise down the Brisbane River, or are just hoping to do a spot of shopping in the downtown area.
But what really gives Brisbane its edge is that it’s got all of the above, and it’s really close to the both the Sunshine and the Gold Coasts. In the north, on the Sunny Coast is where you’ll find quaint towns and markets and pristine beaches, and in the south, on the Gold Coast, is where you will find a host of activities available, like golf, surfing, and sailing, and if you’re with the kids, where you’ll find the theme parks.

We’ve never had to convince anyone to book a flight to Bali, and we won’t have to convince you either. It’s a cliché, but this really is a holiday destination for everyone. For the outdoorsy, you can go hiking up Mount Batur, or trekking in the jungles. For those looking for cultural sites there are the UNESCO-listed rice terraces of Ubud, or the stunning Hindu temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu.
