Staff was super helpful. Great “hold my bag” room if you need luggage storage. Close to the opera, train, and shopping areas. Even has free popcorn at night.
Really slow elevator though so I took the stairs a lot.

This is a good hotel to stay in if you're travelling on the train as the railway station is 5-minutes walk away. There's even a sign on a lamppost, indicating the direction to go in, just veer left after leaving the station. The hotel is also on the edge of the pedestrianised area (the largest in the Vorarlberg region) and once there, any right hand turn should lead you to the Oberstadt, the REALLY interesting part of the city.

Better than average

Passing through Lake Constance, I stayed one night at this hotel, a stone's throw from the beautiful lakefront. I had already had other experiences in Ibis hotels in Central Europe and I must say that the one in Bregenz seemed better than average to me: in particular, I found the room more spacious and with adequate space also for storing luggage. Unfortunately, however, only one towel is provided for shower/sink. Breakfast with a good selection of products also for the sweet side. Quick check-in and check-out, I don't know German but the staff spoke English without problems.

Siamo lieti che abbia apprezzato le nostre camere ampie e confortevoli, ideali per riporre comodamente i bagagli durante il suo soggiorno; la varietà della colazione, con particolare attenzione alla selezione dolce, è una delle caratteristiche che ci contraddistinguono.
Per quanto riguarda le dotazioni del bagno, desideriamo ricordare che presso la reception siamo sempre disponibili a fornire ulteriori asciugamani su richiesta.
Ci fa piacere che abbia comunque trovato efficiente il servizio di check-in e check-out: il nostro team multilingue è felice di assistere gli ospiti in diverse lingue, garantendo una comunicazione chiara in ogni momento, e la posizione vicino al lungolago permette inoltre di raggiungere rapidamente le principali attrazioni di Bregenz.
Speriamo di avere un'altra occasione per accoglierla.

Quite overpriced.

My stay at this hotel cost me a good 300 euros per day. However, the furnishings and the service were not appropriate for this price. Here are some of the highlights:
- Mold on the bathroom ceiling
- Rusty hinges on the shower door
- Cracked tiles in the bathroom
- One towel per person
- Bathroom door that cannot be locked
- Only basic Wi-Fi connection, premium access costs extra
- Mattresses not properly made
- No housekeeping, even though I explicitly did not hang out the sign that it could be skipped.
- Traveled as a group. The room across the hall was on a different floor.
- Loose lamps in the room
- Air conditioning was essentially loud, but did not cool.
- Elevator got stuck several times on the fourth floor.
