I loved it!
It has come a little in years, some corners really need a renovation....abeer: very cozy!
The room decor is a colorful 90s mix. Not everyone likes it, so please be prepared for it. But if you are not looking for a chic hotel but simply want to treat yourself to some quality time, then you have come to the right place.
Advantages:
- most rooms with balcony,
- free safe in the room,
- very nicely located with a nice courtyard (small pond, deck chairs etc.),
- Swimming pool open from 07.oo in the morning until 22.oo, free of charge for hotel guests,
- Jacuzzi free of charge in the swimming pool,
- from 16.00 hrs steam bath and sauna free of charge,
- various beauty treatments for a fee on site (highly recommended!),
- for half board very nice selection of diverse food including fish,
- Very attentive, friendly staff.
- sumptuous, varied breakfast buffet.
- Pet friendly
I could list more here because I really liked it here. But everyone needs to know for themselves what they like and don't like.
I see a disadvantage or a certain difficulty here, but the hotel can't help it. Hitzacker is located very hilly. So if you have limited mobility, maybe the hotel really isn't the first choice. From the hotel, it goes down quite steeply to the center of the city. Sometimes it is a 13° increase with many steps - so not for people with walking difficulties.
All in all - should I Trips to Hitzacker again - I definitely book another room here.
