Quiet room on the third floor. The location is excellent being so close to the Central Station and Marienplatz

While the Hotel is generally everything you'd expect, I need to add a word of caution:
If you are arriving in the evening, be aware that the outside door is locked from midnight, with nobody on reception.
Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive at the hotel until around 00:30. I initially didn't worry too much about this because I was offered an online check in via an app. This was meant to allow us to use a QR code to obtain our room key card from a machine.
When we arrived, the door was magnetically locked, so we were unable to get into the building. However, there was a notice on the door which provided a mobile phone number for if there were out-of-hours issues.
I rang the number multiple times but there was no answer. I also left a couple of voicemails. Another guest also had the same problem.
Eventually, after maybe an hour, standing in the street with the punters from the nearby strip clubs shuffling past us, a guest came back and kindly let us into the building.
The auto check in machine was switched off and reception was padlocked shut. I rang the number again and the could hear the phone I was calling, ringing. It was behind the empty desk.
We had to give up and find accommodation elsewhere. We visited 8 hotels before we found one with a room.
The next morning there were no explanations or offers of compensation other than an offer of a free breakfast each. We were tied and put through hell by this and expect better.

It's kind of of a run down part of town, but as a budget option, it isn't bad.

First room we were given was completely under maintenance; staff quickly provide another room for us. Very basic but for the price, it was okay. Property is located in the Arab district of Munich so its culturally a little different compared to rest of the city. Great food in the area. Overall, for the price I would say it is worth it.

Rude hotel staff. The WiFi barely worked even though it says free WiFi is available. There was no hairdryer despite it being listed in the description. There was no tea/coffee maker, and although we were two people staying for three nights, there were only two coffee capsules provided. Terrible experience – do not go there.
