Hostel in midstream of Shimant river

The hostel was built in 2016, by reforming an old traditional house. It has the characteristic bath unit called "Goemon Buro", a wooden swing hung on a tree and classical Tatami rooms. Bedrooms, kitchen and other essential commodities are clean. The only challenge is there's no air conditioner in dooms(not sure in private room), it would be tough stay in August.
If you don't have food, local supermarket "HIKOICHI" is available until 7pm.

家族でゆっくり

家族4人で行きました！
たまたま他にゲストさんがいなかったのですが、オーナーの方と子供たちも一緒に高知の名物料理を作り大変楽しく美味しくいただけました！
宿の設備もキレイですし、観光列車がすぐそばを通ってます。また泊まりに行きたいです！

四万十川そばの古民家宿

山小屋のような古民家宿です。古民家にありがちなかび臭さもありませんでした。トイレは水洗じゃありませんが、シャワー等清掃が行き届いていました。2泊しましたが快適に過ごすことができました。カッパもたびたび遊びに来るようです。スーパーが近くにあり、自由に調理して外食ばかりで疲れていた胃腸にいつもの自宅でしていた食事をとることができて助かりました。

楽しい時間

はじめての人はたどり着けないであろう(あ、でも最近看板が設置されたとか…)、予土線の線路脇にあるゲストハウスです。
訪れたときは、たまたま他にゲストはいなくて一人でしたが、オーナーの方は親切に四万十をはじめ、高知の色々な情報を教えてくれました。ヘルパーの方々も気さくで色々お話しすることができて、楽しい時間を過ごすことがたできました。
まだ、オープンしてそれほど時間が経っていないようで、今も内装をどんどん改装しているとのこと。日々進化しているようですね。また、ぜひ訪れてみたいです。
