Good hotel

Very good hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is open 24/7. The only thing that is perhaps a bit meager is the breakfast buffet. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would love to come back.

Unprofessional and confusing experience

Very unpleasant and confusing experience.
We checked in at around 05:30 in the morning and paid 99 € for the room. We signed the registration document which clearly states that our reservation was from 05.03.2026 until 06.03.2026.
At the reception we were not informed about any early check-in fee.
After a few hours we were suddenly told that we must either leave the room or pay an additional 99 €. Later another employee demanded 30 € instead.
We felt pressured to pay this money because otherwise we were told to leave the room.
This situation was very unprofessional and stressful.
An official complaint has already been submitted to the Consumer Protection Authority in Lithuania.

Check-in took around 30-40 mins as trainee at front desk at night. Extra-beds for children unusable due wear (slept on the floor on the mattress). Bedside light fixtures loose / broken. Difficult to sleep due large crack in living room glass window, winds howling through. Breakfast was non-existent, if you can find it at all. Hidden behind a wall in the bar, very little food, just some leftovers 1,5 hours before end of the buffet. There was 8 people at breakfast, enough food only for 2. At check-out were asked to pay for minibar. There was no minibar in the room. So, refused to pay.

No Air Conditioning and Food Safety Issues

The air conditioning did not work. After a hot day with temperatures around 29°C, the room turned into a sauna, and at night it was almost impossible to breathe. Even opening the window did not help. Honestly, we would have been better off sleeping outside — the air was fresher there. For guests with heart conditions, these conditions are simply unacceptable.
The breakfast was no better. Cold cuts, cheese and butter were kept in a switched-off refrigerator and were visibly warming up. Perishable food should be stored at temperatures below +5°C, not left to melt on a buffet.
Very disappointed. This level of service is far below what should be expected from a 4-star hotel.

Very well, but...

Honestly, the hotel is very beautiful. The bedding is great, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly.
It's just a shame that the showers are old and that water gets everywhere. It deserves better.
Special mention for the breakfast and the restaurant.
