Heartwarm hostess and historic gem

My parents and I spent one night in July at Marianne and Lars Harald, and it became a memorable and very pleasant experience. The host is warm, welcoming and sincerely concerned to make the stay as good as possible – we felt cared for from the first moment.
I had a private room, while my parents stayed in a bright and spacious double room with beautiful views of the beautiful Randsfjord. They responded quickly and kindly to all inquiries before the stay, and showed great flexibility when it came to adapting the room to the mother’s allergy to dwarfs – thank you so much!
The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast consisted of local and tasty ingredients – both tasty and homey, a perfect start to the day.
The whole house carries the mark of history and thoughtfulness. It is carried out and well documented with old photographs, letters and textiles – like a small museum in itself. To our great pleasure we also got a tour of the restored house next to the guesthouse right after breakfast. Marianne led us with great commitment and deep knowledge. Her passion for local history – and history in general – really shines through, and she conveys every little detailed discovery with true warmth and immersion.
It’s not just the place that is a gem – the host is too.
We highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to come back if we get the opportunity!

Fredfull plass med unik historie, utsikt og godt bevart interiør. Trivelig vertskap som får deg til å føle deg hjemme.

3 flotte dager på dette fredfulle overnattingsstedet. Vertskapet deler villig fra gårdens interessante historie (som sitter godt i veggene og alt de har tatt vare på) og legger til rette på alle mulige måter med info om turer m.m. Vi tilbrakte 17.mai på sykkel rundt øvre del av Randsfjorden, og det var fint å nyte resten av kvelden på den nye stua i 2.etasje med panorama utsikt over fjorden. Flere fine oppholdsplasser utenom rommene, og piano på ene stua. Deilig frokost med hjembakt brød. Takk for oppholdet og vi kommer gjerne tilbake

Fantastisk utsikt

Beliggende utpå pynten av berget, har dette pensjonatet en fantastisk utsikt som setter rammen for selskapet. Vi arrangerte/deltok på bryllup. Vielsen ble foretatt ute med utsikten mot Randsfjorden bak ekteparet. Inne er stilen gammel med kunst og historie på veggene. Plassen er helt fantastisk og anbefales hvis man skal arrangere større selskap.

Perle ved Randsfjorden, Innlandet.

Pensjonatets lune atmosfære møtte oss med varme i vedovner og et hyggelig vertskap!
Huset syder av historie og de har vært flinke til å ta vare på og videreformidle den. I stuer og spisesal er det et koselig miljø med gamle møbler med lokalhistorie og malerier og kunst fra bygdas egne kunstnere. Sengene hadde høye madrasser og badet er oppgradert med varme i gulvene! Vi har allerede bestilt stedet for et større selskap til høsten! Oppholdet ble avsluttet med ei deilig frokost med kortreist mat/drikke og en vandring på historisk ridevei.

Fantastiskt boende!

Väldigt mysigt pensionat med trevliga värdar, bra och varierad frukost, trevliga små rum och fantastisk miljö! Pensionatet var ett gammalt och mysigt hus med mycket historia. Väldigt sköna sängar! Mycket värt ett besök.
