What a wonderful hotel!

I can’t lavish praise enough on the team at the Sortland Scandic. This hotel is a Scandic franchise, owned and run by local interests, who have trained their team brilliantly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, breakfast & dinner excellent & we loved the views, the sauna & relaxing by the stoves in the casual area. Having the adventure centre only next door was another real plus.

Good placement of the hotel. Sortland is not a super interesting place and few alternatives for foo and drinks so the hotel covers those needs
Rooms are ok. Food is good but a wee bit overpriced for what it is.
Value in total is what I expect in Northern Norway.
Polite and helpful staff.

Hotel was clean and comfuti. Breakfast buffet was good.
Have to pay for car parking - which was not mentioned in the listing - 150 NOK for the night).

Very nice hotel, great room, clean, good breakfast, service minded employees and great gym nearby
