Never again and not recommended

I thought this is really a good place to stay because of the great reviews, but, expectation vs reality is so real. Which made me wondering why there are many great reviews but it’s opposite when you’re there.
The whole hostel can make use of renovations and total cleaning. It’s not really that clean.
Shower doesn’t have anything you can hang your clothes or put your soap/shampoo. And there’s no slippers too so imagine stepping on the floor.
The room is not that clean too. I even saw used wet wipes on one of the lockers. And the bed is itchy. The room is not spacious too. So hard to open your luggage especially if there are other guests.
And the worst part of my stay which pushed me to check out earlier than scheduled — super noisy and inconsiderate roommates. It’s an all-female room but I heard boy’s voice. They’re talking loudly at 3am and keep on going in/out the room. In the morning, the boys were knocking the door.
Location wise? It’s not really that accessible. You still have to walk going to the main road if you want to commute. Imagine if you’re walking at late night or with heavy stuff.
Cheap, yes? But it’s not worth the cheapness. You can still be cheap but at least clean.
There are other hostels in the city that is way better. And check all the ratings especially the low rates so you won’t get a bad surprise.

Okay room, strange place.

We had a queen room booked for a few nights, the room was fine other than the A/C which was louder than the planes flying overhead. For the price though it's decent, 2 double beds and a nice TV. We are nightowls that enjoy to come and go as we please, but on one occasion we went through the lobby to collect a food order at about 11.30pm and there was a bed behind the desk where the receptionist was sleeping and a man sleeping on the table so it really felt like we were interrupting. You have to pass through this area to have a cigarette too. The door was locked so we had to wake the receptionist to unlock it. I just feel that 11.30pm is far too early to have that set up in a hostel. There's also noon food available there at the moment. Again the room is fine but not a great stay.

Backpacking hospitality Superb!

The ambiance, comfort, cleanliness and hospitality is a 10/10.
Douglas is very cute and the reception pips are very accommodating they even let us leave our things for a while after check out. Artistic feels makes you wanna stay longer which is too bad since we had planned itineraries for the day. Would definitely comeback and recommend to y'all!

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The staff were super accomodating and they even guide us how to go to places. I will definitely go back here on my nect visit to cebu and I will recommend this place to my family and friend visiting cebu.
