This is a single municipality and city in the western part of the Archipelago of the Azores, encompassing the island of Faial. Has a nice port area which is located right in town. Pleasant city to walk around with shops, churches and eateries to enjoy.

Horta, the capitlal of Faial, the blue usland if Azores, is famous for his Marina. Other must places are Peter Cafe and the sawmill Museum. Just outside town visit the botanic garden and Amoxarife beach
