Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Airport Paris Charles de Gaulle, named after the former French president, is the busiest airport in France and is found 25km northeast of the capital.

CDG is divided into three areas, with a free shuttle train connecting the trio of terminals:

Terminal 1 is the oldest of the three, and serves Star Alliance airlines.

Terminal 2 is the largest of the terminals, and is further subdivided into Terminals 2A-2G. Most of these are within short walking distance of one another, but 2G is a 15-minute shuttle ride away. This terminal was originally built for Air France flights, but has since expanded to accommodate other airlines.

Terminal 3 oversees the arrivals and departures of low-cost carriers.
