Alicante–Elche Airport, originally called El Altet, is an airport in Spain. It is the main airport for the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia, serving Alicante, Elche, Valencia, and Murcia. It is located nine kilometres southwest of Alicante, 10 kilometres east of Elche, 70 kilometres north of Murcia, and 160 kilometres south of Valencia. The airport serves as a hub for several airlines: Air Nostrum, Jet2.com, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Ryanair, and Vueling.

Castell de Santa Bàrbara - The Santa Bárbara Castle is a fortification that sits on Mount Benacantil at the centre of Alicante. Its origins date back to the 9th century, during the period of Muslim control of the Iberian Peninsula. In 1963 the castle was opened to the public as a tourist attraction. Lifts has been installed inside the mountain, which can be used by visitors to access the castle for a small fee. At and near the summit are refreshments and other amenities.

Museo de Bellas Artes Gravina - The Gravina Museum of Fine Arts is a museum housing paintings and sculptures of Alicante, dating from the 16th century to the early 20th century. The museum houses nearly 500 works, including sculptures by Francisco Salzillo and paintings by Vicente López Portaña, Antonio Gisbert, and Joaquin Agrasot.

Basilica of Santa Maria - The Basilica of Santa Maria is the oldest active church in the city of Alicante. It was built between the 14th and 16th centuries in Gothic style, over the ruins of a mosque.
