Departing from Auckland
Auckland Airport (AKL) is New Zealand's busiest airport, serving more than 19 million passengers in 2017. It's 21km from the CBD and can be reached 24 hours a day by SkyBus, taxis, shuttle services or private vehicles. Short-term and long-term parking are available.
All airlines check in on the ground floor, after which you head upstairs for departures and duty-free shopping. Shops, restaurants and other facilities can be found before and after security screening. To avoid problems, Auckland Airport recommends that you arrive 3 hours before your international flight.
Arriving in Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires has 2 airports. Ministro Pistarini International (EZE, also known as Ezeiza Airport) handles international flights, but flights connecting with regional South American airlines such as LATAM may also arrive at Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP). Check your flight booking so you know which airport you're arriving at.
Ezeiza Airport is larger and has more facilities, but it's also further away from the city at 22km, costing 450-500 pesos by taxi to Buenos Aires hotels. Jorge Newbery Airport is just 2km from the CBD.
