For a short weekend trip away from the hustle and bustle of London, take a direct flight from Gatwick to Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland. The birthplace of world-famous cruise ship the Titanic, the city is home to the Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience. Go to the actual historic site of the doomed ship’s construction and learn about her behind-the-scenes story, revel in the pride of her makers, and find out intimate details about her maiden voyage and eventual tragic end. Besides that, Belfast also features Cave Hill, Stormont Castle and more, for an all-rounded holiday experience.

Alternatively, direct flights are also available from Gatwick to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city. On top of that, it was also once among Lonely Planet’s top 10 cities for tourists.

On top of that Edinburgh also boasts beautiful unspoilt scenic sites such as Arthur’s Seat, the peak of a group of hills, and the sweeping East Lothian coastline.
