Arriving in Seoul

Seoul has 2 international airports: Gimpo (GMP) and Incheon (ICN). Around 3 quarters of the flights starting in Christchurch land at Incheon.

Incheon is 60km from the CBD, which takes about 45 minutes by car or taxi. Expect to pay up to NZ$90 for a taxi. Buses and trains are also available, at much lower costs, but take more than an hour to reach the city centre.

Gimpo is the closer airport, just 20km to the west of the CBD. In a taxi this should take less than 20 minutes, costing up to NZ$35. A train covers the distance in much the same time, but at a far lower price. Buses are also available, but these can take up to 45 minutes to get to the city.
