Singapore is the jewel of Southeast Asia, giving New Zealand travellers a great taste of a foreign land but with many of the comforts of home. Air conditioned shopping malls and a highly efficient public transport system mix nicely with hawker food stalls and a tropical climate.
The country is also a hub for Singapore Airlines, which makes it a great travel link for many countries in Asia and farther afield.
