Sky Airline Flights

Sky Airline is a Chilean airline established in 2001 with the original base of operation in the Caribbean. It provides services for passengers, mail and for cargo and freight transport. In 2002, it moved its base of operation to Chile, with flights from Santiago to the northern territories.

Sky Airline is largely a domestic airline, providing flight routes within Chile and other South American countries. The pride of the airline is their spirit of service and punctuality.

Currently, Sky Airline serves 14 destinations in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.

Why fly with Sky Airline

Check-in

It is recommended that you be at your respective airport for checking-in at least three hours prior to an international flight and two hours prior to a domestic flight. Sky Airline also provides a web check-in service on their website, using your name and reservation code you will be able to complete the process. The web check-in will be open to passengers from two days up to three hours prior to their flight’s scheduled departure time. However, it is still recommended that you get to the airport early if you have any baggage that you have to check in before your flight.

Baggage Allowances

Passengers on both international and domestic flights are allowed one piece of carry on not amounting to more than 5kg on domestic flights, and 8kg on international flights. For passengers on the national route, flying within Chile itself, the check-in baggage allowance is 20kg. For passengers flying on routes out of or outside of Chile, the allowance for check in baggage is 32kg. Additional baggage can be paid for during the check-in process at the respective airports.

Seating

Reservation of seats is not possible for Sky Airline. However, certain seats can be requested upon checking in at the airport. Sky Airline reserves the right to seat arrangements.

Booking Fees/Payment Methods

There are no booking fees when you reserve tickets through the website or when you book directly through their call service.

Inflight Services

Sky Airline provides water, wine, liquor, juices and an assortment of drinks on board. The airline also uses the renowned caterer, Sky Chefs (a subsidiary of Lufthansa), and is at the ready to provide meals to passengers at a reasonable cost. If you should have any special meal request, you can request it during your ticket reservation/purchase or at least 12 hours prior to the flight. Magazines are provided in the flight for the perusal of all passengers. Flights taking off in the mornings will also provide newspapers.
