Air Canada Flights

Air Canada serves as the flag carrier, as well as the largest airline of Canada. How to Check In

Air Canada recommends that you check-in at least 24 hours before your scheduled flight and print your boarding pass. You can still check in within the 24-hour period prior to the departure of your flights. For flights within Canada, you are allowed to check-in at least 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time and for departure to other countries (including the United States) you can check-in at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. However, if you have a connecting flight, you should check-in up to 24 hours prior to departure time of your final connecting flight. When doing a check-in, you should use the airport local of the last flight in your itinerary to avoid confusion. You can also check-in using your mobile phone. Just visit mobile.aircanada.com and select check-in option. Using your mobile phone, you can also use mobile check-in to select your seat, stand by for an earlier flight, stand by for upgrades, make same-day changes, confirm your baggage amounts, cancel your check-in, make a same-day flight change, and pay applicable additional checked baggage charges, if any.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Air Canada charges a respective fee for the first checked bagged and the second checked bag on flights between the United States and Canada. A fee is also charged for the second checked bag on flights between the United States and most international destinations.

Inflight Food

For Business class flights, a delectable menu of international cuisines and fine wines are available. For the wines, you can opt for old and New World red and white wines, as well as Canadian red and white wines. You can also opt to select beer, liquor, liqueurs, soft drinks, coffee, and ice tea, just ask our flight attendants and they would be glad to assist. For the Economy class flights, OnBoard Café is available on most flights with travel time of more than 90 minutes. Special meals can also be prepared, just contact us at least 18 hours before your first flight and we would be glad to comply. For International Business Class flights, you will be treated to international cuisines that will sure tickle your palette. Meanwhile, wines such as champagne, Old and New World red and white wines, Canadian red and white wines, Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port, plus a selection from beer, liquor, and liqueurs, juices, soft drinks, as well as coffee and tea are also available. If you are travelling on Premium Economy class, you will be treated to a welcome beverage, and will be offered the choice between two delicious hot meals served in a china casserole, accompanied by a refreshing salad, warm bread and dessert. For Economy class, you will be offered a complimentary snack and a complimentary meal. Special meals can also be prepared, just contact us at least 18 hours before your first flight and we would be glad to comply.

Air Canada inflight entertainment system is sure to make your flight entertained and enjoyable as possible. You can choose from over 600 hours of on-demand entertainment, which features up to 150 movies in all genres, including the latest Hollywood and independent titles locally and internationally produced in more than 20 languages, and up to 200 TV shows including the most popular TV series, interesting documentaries, plus over 100 albums and playlists in all musical genres.
