Flying with Cebu Pacific

Cebu Pacific is a low-cost carrier in the Philippines. It's based at Manila Ninoy Aquino Airport with secondary hubs at Mactan-Cebu International and other regional airports.

The airline was founded in 1988 and today is the country's largest airline, serving both domestic and international flights. More domestic routes are operated by its subsidiary airline Cebgo. In 2016, Cebu Pacific became a founding member of the Value Alliance with other low-cost carriers.

Cebu Pacific check in

You can check in for Cebu Pacific flights online, on mobile or at the airport.

Web and mobile check-in is available from 7 days to 4 hours before international flights, and up to 1 hour before domestic flights. You'll still need to get your documents checked at the airport, and you must be at your departure gate at least 30 minutes before your flight.

Online check-in is not available for guests travelling with children, unaccompanied minors or those with reduced mobility or who require extra assistance. Mobile check-in is not available for flights to/from the United States.

Cebu Pacific baggage allowance and fees

You can take 1 carry-on item and 1 small item such as a handbag or laptop bag onto the plane. Cabin bags must not weigh more than 7kg or be larger than 56cm x 36cm x 23cm (Airbus flights) or 56cm x 35cm x 20cm (ATR flights).

Checked baggage is not included in Cebu Pacific fares. Passengers can pre-pay for their baggage up to 4 hours in advance to save money compared to airport fees. Excess baggage is charged at ₱1,200 (NZ$33) per kg.

No checked item should weigh more than 32kg. Baby strollers and walking canes can be checked at no charge.

If you want to request a seat, this will carry an extra charge. The fee depends on the type of seat and where you're flying to. On long-haul international flights, prices range from ₱500 (NZ$14) for Standard to ₱2,500 (NZ$70) for Preferred seats.

You can choose your seat when booking your flight or by managing your booking up to 4 hours before take-off.
