Tibet Airlines Flights

T’way Airlines, or Tway Air, is a low-cost airline that is based in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It was established in August 8, 2010 with two Boeing 737-800s, and the following month, the airline obtained Domestic Air Operator Certificate (A.O.C.). It began launching its domestic service between Gimpo International Airport and Jeju International Airport. With the acquisition of two more Boeing 737-800s and having had obtained its international operator’s certificate (A.O.C.), it launched its first international service to Bangkok and Fukuoka on a daily basis the following year. The airline expanded its services and obtained an air transport license for cargo, and launched its international flight service to Taipei for four times a week in 2012. The following year, it launched its international service to Sapporo and Saga on a daily and twice a week basis, respectively, with the acquisition of the sixth Boeing 737-800. Finally, it completed its fleet line-up with the acquisition of the seventh B737-800 in March, and has launched its service between Daegu Airport and Jeju International Airport.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Tway Air allows cabin baggage of up to 10kg. In excess of this, the guest would have to pay an extra charge subject to the rules and regulations of the airline. Cabin bags may contain personal items so long as it does not exceed the provided dimensions of the bag, with the sum of the three sides measuring less than 115cm. Items not allowed for cabin bags should be placed in checked-in baggage and they are as follows: any sharp objects, household items, medicine or toiletry items, batteries and portable electronic devices, and rescue equipment such as small oxygen cylinders. If you are to bring gels, liquid, and baby food on a carry-on baggage, you have to ensure that the liquids must not exceed 100ml. If you are to bring medication on board, you have to show it to the security screener in advance. Meanwhile, for checked-in baggage in domestic flights, the baggage must not exceed 15kg, and for international flights, the baggage must not exceed 20kg. The sum of the dimensions of the three sides should not exceed 203cm.

Inflight Food

For international flights, choices of orange juice, Jeju mineral water, coffee, and green tea is available, except for flights going to Fukuoka route. Inflight meal service is provided, and for flights going to Fukuoka, nuts and beverages are the option. For domestic flights, drinks only include a choice between orange juice and Jeju mineral water.

Inflight Entertainment

Tway Air is equipped with the best inflight entertainment system there is to ensuring everyone’s convenience. For domestic flights, earplugs are provided for those who wish to watch the available movies and listen to music. To take entertainment to the next level, we also prepared events and activities on special days such as Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Other customised service includes the provision for a wheelchair loading service available for the elderly, and other services for pregnant women and vision-impaired passengers are also provided. An option to purchase cold beer, nuts, and blanket, as well as inflight shopping, is made possible on board. Just like on domestic flight, if your birthday, or special event, fell on the date of your flight, you may inform us all about it and we will arrange a special surprise for you. In addition, first aid medicine is available in the cabin, just let our flight attendants know and we would be glad to assist you.

Where We Fly

Tway Air fleet consists of seven Boeing 737-800 aircraft, each are capable of carrying 189 passengers and 186 passengers in an all-economy class cabin layout. Tway Air serves domestic flights within South Korea, as well as some countries in East Asia such as Japan and China. The airline also flies to other South East Asian countries such as Thailand and Taiwan.
