Virgin Atlantic flights & airline information

Flying with Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic is a UK-based airline with hubs at London Heathrow and Gatwick. The majority of the airline's destinations are in the UK and the USA, however it also flies to Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Central America.

Unlike Virgin Australia, which is predominantly owned by a mix of airline groups, Virgin Atlantic is owned by the original Virgin Group (51%) and Delta Airlines (49%). Despite the similar names, the 2 Virgin companies are run by different administrations and offer different experiences, although they do have a codeshare agreement in place.

Why fly with Virgin Atlantic?

Virgin Atlantic is one of the world's few airlines that offers a flight to Havana, Cuba. This Caribbean country was closed off to the outside world until recently, and its lack of outside influences gives it a unique look and feel. Enjoy the Cuban delicacies, wander the cobble-stoned streets and learn all about the famous revolutionaries.
